Holiday Happenings

The strangest thing happened today, something that never happens in California... IT SNOWED! Even weirder, it didn't happen outside, but inside my apartment. Imagine my amazement as I walked through the door after class and saw fluffy white snow everywhere.. See for yourself.

Turkey Day

Is anyone else amazed that Thanksgiving has passed and it is on to Christmas?! Where does the time go?

So, Thanksgiving was a great success (with the exception of some rolls I ruined) and a good time was had by all. In Nikki time, it had been a while since I'd spent some time with my family so it was a wonderful vacation for me..

We made sure to keep Nate's cranberry sauce in can shape, as requested..

The Turkey Hat is a newer tradition for my family. Shannon found it last year and I have no doubt it will make every Thanksgiving here on out. You have to wear the Turkey Hat when saying what you're thankful for...

It was Sofia's first Thanksgiving, and what a big day it was. She started all wide-eyed and happy..
