After a couple of hectic weeks, I woke up this morning and had the chance to relax a little. It feels good, I must say. I had a major group presentation to give at my class last night, with that complete school looks a lot more easy to tackle.
Another element that adds to my relaxation is that Nate and I found a place to live and have put down the deposit. That means it is ours. Ours, ours, ours :) It is a 2 bedroom which we didn't think we'd be able to do in our price-range, but we found a great place that's totally affordable. AND it's probably the nicest apartment I've had yet. I'm excited to be able to offer a bedroom to friends and family who want to stay with us ("us", weeiird). I think I owe Shannon and Dougie the most, since they have a room in their house they call "Nikki's room." Actually, who am I kidding? Mom and Dad, you guys are up 20 years on everyone else ;)
What does the rest of my day look like? Well I think I will do so reading, I have tutoring at 12:00pm and then I'll do whatever I feel like, I guess.

Honeymoon Booked!
WoooHooo!! Nate and I just booked our honeymoon! I am so excited. I just wish it was sooner, but I know it will come up quickly.
In case you are wondering, Nate and I are going to Belize from June 9th to June 16th and will be staying at this awesome resort, Matachica (click on link to see pics).
Have a mentioned how excited I am???!!! It will be a trip of both relaxation and tropical activities, which I think is a perfect combo for our honeymoon. We will be staying in the Beach Casitas, they are little beach cottages which will make it so nice and a little more private than a hotel. Here is a picture of the interior of a Beach Casita..
I CAN'T WAIT!!!!
UNBELIEVABLE UPDATE: After I posted this blog, I wrote to our friend Clare who had suggested the resort and said thank you and how excited I was... Well, she replies back that they had booked Belize, too... THE SAME EXACT DATES! What are the odds. They are staying in at a different beach house on a nearby island. But we still couldn't believe the coincidence. THEN, she asks me what flights we are taking... WE ARE ON THE SAME FLIGHTS!!! Is that not unbelievable. So funny! I look forward to meeting up for dinner and/or some snorkeling :)
