Top 10 Things I Love About My Mom

In honor of my mother and Mother's Day I thought I would compile a Letterman-style list of the top 10 things that I love about my mom. For those of you who don't know her, she is the best and, like I always tell her, she's my favorite. So here it goes..

10. This outfit ;)



9. When she made cookies for my dad in the morning, we got to line up and have a bite of cookie dough.... and then we would re-lineup and have another... All before breakfast!

8. For carrying me to bed every night when I pretended to be asleep... even after we moved to a 2-story house and I had PROMISED she wouldn't have to carry me up the stairs.

7. Christmas - I'm not saying I don't believe in Santa, but he got A LOT of help I think. She knew how to make us jump for joy when we saw what "Santa" had left.

6. She was my personal taxi driver. As a kid there wasn't a sport I didn't play. Now add musical theater and school onto that...Times it by 3. Wow, that's a lot of driving.

5. She made me feel better when I was sick - Cinnamon/sugar toast and my favorite "Fairy Tale Theatre" video.

4. She's understanding - Like when she came to pick me up from "Skate Night" in 4th grade and let me stay for the couples' skate because I KNEW Kyle (my crush) was going to ask me to skate with him.

3. She was Super Woman when we were growing up. She worked full-time, but still had time to make dinner and make each one of her daughters feel special.

2. She always makes me feel better. Whenever I am down or upset about something, she knows just what to say and usually can make me laugh while doing it.

1. She is the best woman I have ever known.
