Life After the IPhone

This weekend Nate finally got an IPhone. I have to say, he was very patient to have waited so long, especially because he waited in line with my dad and bro-in-law the very first day they came out, over a year ago. Nate couldn't be happier with his new trinket and it seems like the more he learns about it, the more he likes it.

However, since the phone arrived on the scene I've noticed a change in Nate. We can only hope it's a passing phase since the phone is still new.. Let me give you an example of the problem.

Conversation since the IPhone goes a little something like this:

Nikki: Nate, what do you want to do for dinner?

Nate:

Nikki: Ummmm... Nate? Hello? I asked about dinner..

(Minute passes)

Nate: Uh what? Did you say something?

This is life after the IPhone. I didn't know the phone came with "symptoms," but I'll keep my fingers crossed that Nate will be cured soon.

From my personal experience, I've found that the symptoms come and go, but never fully disappear. Apple so graciously offers free upgrades every few months, and at those times the symptoms seem to reappear. :) Maybe together we can find the cure!

Ha, this cracked me up! I'll have a whole conversation with Mark sometimes not realizing he's on the computer, or texting, or playing xbox and once I get the MINUTES of silence after I've asked him the question or told him a story, I have to say, "did you even hear me?" He says he does, but sometimes I ask him to repeat what I said... and sometimes he can't do it! Then there's times I play tricks on him and tell him I'm lifting up my shirt (hee, hee) in the middle of what I'm saying, to which he'll immediately look up... only to see he's been scammed. At least I know he's listening to some of the stuff I'm saying. What's with these boys! Mark's jealous that Nate got the phone. He wants one... but this isn't encouraging because Mark will be the exact same way! Hope Nate gets over it soon!

Whoa, this was a long comment... we're excited to see you guys next weekend!

I think the Butler boys get distracted very easy. I am a little worried because peter is already trying to figure out how to buy his Iphone. He is more excited to see Nate's phone than actually going to S.F

good luck Nikki (good luck to all the women with Butler boys)
