Kids These Days

About a week ago, I was sitting in the class where I tutor. The students were working on their daily "Root Work" (most English classes today have some sort of daily warm up). One student near me finished a little early and took out a Rubix Cube that was completely mixed up. I watched as his hands went to work. I was amazed as he kept putting together one side of the same colors and then another side. All in all, it took him about 1 minute to complete the puzzle. I was SHOCKED! I'd never seen someone really solve a rubix cube, not to mention, in that short of time.

I quickly said, "That is amazing. Where did you learn to do that??"
He answered, "The internet."

Welcome to the next generation.

HA! The only way I ever "solved" those rubics cubes was by taking the colored stickers off and moving them around. Pretty brilliant if you ask me ;o)
