For awhile there my life was turned a bit upside down while working on the PACT, my final major project for the credential program. The PACT proved to be both physically and mentally time-consuming. My weekends and weekdays were filled working on this ginormous project. Have you ever noticed how when you're life is too busy with work, your house suffers? This is always the case for me. My house often reflects my mental state at a given time. Case and point: our guest room/my "office." Below is a little before and after depiction of my life through pictures of my workspace. At the end, I hope you can see the serenity I feel with having this thing complete and turned in.
BeforeMy "office" during the PACT - desk filled, bed laid out with resources and project elements, and the lovely "to be recycled" pile on the floor:

My desk and computer filled with rubrics, prompts, and drafts:

The Final project, compiled and ready to turn in:
After"Office" looking much better:

My desk looking the way I prefer it:

I'm feeling so much better now that this project is complete. I have a little more time for myself and teaching feels much more manageable. My weekends now will be all about Baby Butler and turning this lovely guest room into a handsome nursery. I can't wait!
