Easter 2010

I realized that I haven't posted anything about Easter, yet! We will fix that right now...

For Easter the fam headed to Palm Springs for a little B,R&R (Bbqin', Rest, & Relaxation) The weather was nice, not too hot, and the house we stayed at was great. The house was right on the PGA golf course (I guess). The course that the house backed up to was a private course where, let's be honest, you need to be REAL rich to play there.

This is the ONE picture I got of the house (and it's only the backyard):
We relaxed by the pool, cooked, grilled, and ate. Pretty typical family vacation, but always nice. One highlight was when my mom, sisters, and I went to an adult Easter egg hunt. It was hilarious! The city put it on and it was at night, so many people had flashlights and whatnot. Shannon has the video, hopefully we can get it on here soon. But in the meantime, if you can just imagine 4 women giddy like schoolgirls, that was us. While we didn't win anything, I'd have to say the "Best Effort" award goes to Lisa.. She was scaring people with her lightening speed and ability to jump from rock to rock. She summed up her performance by saying, "I guess I'm still pretty competitive." Ha!

And of course, Ms. Sofishka. She was too cute in her little Easter dress:
She especially liked running on the golf course's hills and showing us her "somersault":
Easter baskets galore... Even one for Baby Butler. That Easter bunny sure is generous:)
Sofia and her Easter basket:
What was funny to think about during this trip is how next year there will be another addition to the Palm Springs Easter trip. I don't know if there will be more pink dresses, or maybe an Easter outfit of khakis and a button down, but I do know Nate and I can't wait to find out.... I guess Tuesday will tell :)
