Our First Baby Shower

Last Friday Erin and AnneMarie threw Nate and I our first mini baby shower. I can honestly say that I'd never been to a co-ed shower before, but what made this one so different was the fact that it was FOR OUR BABY. We had such a great time (and way too many desserts). It was so nice of our friends to come together and celebrate. With three weddings last year and now a baby shower, I've got one thing to say... Melrose Place is growing up!

Here are a few pics of the festivities. One thing, these pictures really might be the WORST pictures of me ever, but I'm going to go ahead and swallow my pride on this one and just post them. Note to future photographers: keep the camera angled down at the pregnant lady, thanks :)

Mike and Ashley have been doing P90x recently to get fit. But I say, who needs P90x? Just stand next to a prego!

We played a couple of shower games, including the melted-candy-bar-in-the-diaper game. Always makes for good pics:

For most of the boys, this was their first baby shower. I was so proud of our buddy Banke who came with a fully-wrapped present. In his words, "I couldn't find any tape other than duct tape." As you can see, it worked beautifully:

Nate even got his very own Diaper Dude - a diaper bag for dad without the frilly touches:

We had such a great time and felt so loved by our friends. I can't believe Melrose Place is breaking up, but more on that in the future.
