There is something to be said for having a husband who is patient, loving and always willing to help. I feel like I should take a moment to briefly explain how amazing Nate has been through the pregnancy. Since the day I met him, he's made my life easier and this pregnancy has been no exception. Without getting too gushy, I just want to say that I hope everyone's husbands are as amazing as mine. And I can't wait to go through the challenges of labor with him by my side.
Amazing, yes. Handy? You bet! I promise you will see a finished baby's room VERY soon, but to tide you over I will show you one of the little projects that took place a couple of weeks ago. A lot of Landon's room has been painted/created/constructed by me or Nate and I'm finding that it makes me love it that much more.
Sooo... we had this old hand-me-down dresser that needed some TLC.

Because I'm prego and not wanting to breathe in paint fumes, this project went to Nate. Luckily he accepted the project without a single complaint.
After some sanding:

and repainting:

(look how he takes on my projects with a smile on his face :) What a guy!)
We had ourselves a new dresser:

It turned out great and paying $15 for new paint is WAY cheaper than buying a whole new dresser.
Okay, I'm waiting for one last thing to arrive and then I will put up the finished product. Oh, and 8 more days until my due date! Woohoo!
