Baby's Room - Check!

Finally, I feel like the baby's room is finished (more or less). I'm pretty excited to have it all complete before the little guy has arrived. Also, I'm happy with how the room came out (so if you don't like it, lie to me).

The first thing I bought for the room was the bedding (Bali by CoCaLo). I loved the colors and the tropical/beach theme was right up Nate and I's alley. Since we rent our apartment I knew painting was out of the question. Bright greens and turquoise was my solution. After picking the bedding, the room kind of unfolded. As you will see below, the last addition to the room was the wall decal. Where did I come up with buying a wall decal? Who knows. I was searching for ideas and thought that a decal is different and definitely safe for above the crib (we do have earthquakes in CA).

Alright, without further ado... Little Man's room!




You may have noticed that I said that the room is finished, more or less. This is partly because I'm still not completely sold on the letters and their location. They are kind of just sitting on the shelf without any support. So I reserve the right to move those in the future ;)

I tried to keep pictures of the room's progress. Remember what the room used to look like? Here is the only pic I could find of the room, back when it was our computer/guest room:


Well, a few short months later, with the passing of some life-changing events our transition from guest room to baby's room began. Here is how it went:

So there you have it! Now there is just ONE thing missing. One little, cute thing missing. That's right.. Landon! I'll have to get on that :)
