In an attempt to
get moving, Nate and I have been doing a little more hiking recently. Okay, maybe they would be considered "nature walks".. but we do have a four month old. We are by no means scaling mountains, but we are getting out of the house, getting some exercise, and just enjoying the outdoors.
Yesterday we took a little 4 1/2 mile trip on the San Clemente trail. This hard CA winter left us with 85 degree weather and beautifully open skies, so a trip to enjoy the outdoors was not only necessary, but a must.
We love taking Landon on these little excursions. He loves looking around, seeing what nature has to offer. He rides along casually in the Bjorn and takes in the view. This time Nate was carrying him (normally he'd face out, but it was nap time). It's still fun to see Nate in the Bjorn ;)

It was such a pretty day out and it felt nice to be out there soaking up the sun. Landon was looking at his surroundings, but for some reason he could not get enough of looking up at his dad. Every time we looked over, he had his head back, staring up at his dad. I love to see this cute bond between my two guys:

Here are a few more pics. Take time to notice the awful winter we are having...
