Nikki Picky: B-Day Fun With the Fam

Last Saturday my parents and Shannon and Dougie came down to San Diego for a little fun in the sun to celebrate our birthdays. We had a great time, but once again it all went by too fast. Saturday morning we had a late breakfast at World Famous, my old work. After, we headed back to their hotel (conveniently attached to the restaurant) to plan our day.

We decided on walking down the boardwalk to Mission Beach. While we were there the girls had to keep up tradition and ride the Mission Beach Coaster. Mama and Sha getting ready to go:

I tried taking a few pics during, and what a success! Really the best part of the ride was my mom laughing the ENTIRE time. It's seriously more fun to hear my mom laughing hysterically on the ride than actually riding it. After, we headed back to the hotel, but not without stopping to take a picture. Check this out... Our first (decent) family picture!

Later that night we had an AMAZING dinner at Jrdn restaurant that is located next to the pier, here in PB. We all had some kind of steak and MAN it was De-Lish!! I'm drooling just thinking about it ;) It was fun for Nate and I to get all gussied up:

Landon loves spending time with his grandparents... and I'm pretty sure they enjoy spending time with him, too ;)

We had such a great time. Thank you for coming to visit us. We can't wait until the next time!
