6 months came and went and Landon is now 7 months old! Seriously, I can't believe how fast this is all going by. People tell you that time flies when you have a baby, but I don't think you really get it until you live it. I'm so grateful for this blog, because otherwise I wouldn't remember half of the things we've experienced with this little one.
So what's new and exciting in Landon's world? Let's see:
- He can give kisses now. They are pretty sloppy and wet, but I love them all the same.
- Now that he is mobile, he likes going after Stevie's tail. Nate and I try to give her a heads up by screaming, "Incoming!!" but he still gets her.
- He's forgotten how to sleep. I know they say that babies have trouble sleeping at this age when they are teething/growing/having digestion issues/hitting major milestones/having separation anxiety/ etc. etc., it's just frustrating not knowing exactly which it is :(
- When he does sleep, it is on his side just like his mom and dad.
- He's starting to try and pull himself up on things. Another obstacle to add to our monthly photo-shoot (it seemed like such a simple idea when he was a week old :) ).
- He loves when Nate gets home from work. He will literally try and leap off of me and the couch to try to get to him.
- His favorite word is "Dada." He babbles it all day, everyday.
- He eats three meals a day (Nate laughs at me because I like to make his nutrition as balanced as possible. A meal of just rice cereal doesn't cut it around here).
- He's still so darn skinny. If you need a little help grasping how skinny I mean, just know that this 7 month hold is still wearing 3-6 month jeans in the picture above.
- He's learned to bang his toys together, one of those bittersweet milestones ;)
- He has a security object.. It's the giraffe from the pictures. He doesn't carry it around everywhere, but it helps him sleep (Dr. recommended for separation anxiety)
- He is becoming more and more like a little boy instead of an infant. I've said it before and I will say it again... When you have a baby you love whatever stage they are at, but as soon as they move onto the next stage you realize that you love this stage better than the last. It just seems like he gets better and better as he grows.
"Hey guys, can you believe we've been doing this for 7 months? Crazy, right?!"

So happy to iChat last night! Can't wait to get my hands on this guy in next month. I'll take one of those sloppy kisses!
