Ladies and Gentlemen! We have a 9 month old on our hands!
He's just so big! Now, when I say big I mean in his social/mental growth. Size-wise he is still a skinny little thing. Just got back from the doc and Lando is in the 3rd percentile for weight! What? He wanted to be the caboose is all ;) Nothing to worry about. Doc just thinks he's meant to be skinny. She also couldn't help laughing at how active and social our little guy is. After he was climbing/crawling all over she said, "Well, no wonder he isn't gaining any weight, he doesn't stop moving!"
So what else is our guy up to? Well he's pulling himself up. He loves climbing (especially on Nate and me). He gives high fives and can say 3 words (well if you count that his "dog" sounds more like "duh"). He wants to be standing all the time and gets frustrated if you try and make him sit. He will sit in front of the new toy we got him. He loves this thing. I, on the other hand, am about to throw it out the window if I have to hear it sing, "Welcome to our learning farm, we've got lots to show you!" one more time (Okay, not really, but MAN am I over singing toys!).
Landon is also a lover. If he likes you, he wants to kiss you. That means people holding him, kids at Stroller Strides and especially his dad and me. Just beware, THIS:
brings a whole lot of THIS (who doesn't love a big ol' wet kiss?):
Dad and Landon's favorite trick. Landon sits up high while Nate flies him around overhead (makes me nervous most of the time, but boys will be boys, I guess):
Is this getting boring (BIG YAWN):
I guess I'll end it here, but before I go I have a couple of pictures to share. One cute one and one funny one.. I'm sure you can figure out which is which :)
