We celebrated Landon's 1st birthday last Saturday at our tiny apartment (and boy did it feel tiny!). Landon had fun with his friends and family and I'm pretty sure he enjoyed his first ever "sweet." Landon was spoiled by everyone and I know our little guy felt the love :) It was a small, casual gathering that only ran 2-5pm, but by 5:10 Lando was worn out and gladly dove into his crib for a nap. Too much excitement in one day for the little guy.

Like I said, he LOVED his first ever sweet, a cupcake. He started off tentative and then really devoured it. It went a little something like this...
Decorations were not too complex. I just put pictures up of the little guy (how can you go wrong with pictures?). Of course, these pics don't quite capture the decor, seeing as how I took them the next day, but you get the idea.
My favorite piece had to be this new photo album for my monthly pics. Thank you Pottery Barn Kids for finding a use for them!
I love celebrating my little man, but now back to reality - life with a one year old. Slightly tougher than life with a baby, but a lot more fun :)

So fun! Love the picture decorations. I do have to say a one year old is a lot more work but toddlerhood is so entertaining Sam keeps me laughing all day long.
