We just got back from lunch with Nate downtown. We try and meet Nate for lunch once a week. I love that.
Landon is definitely a toddler. He's quite the go-go-go type. And we always know when he's getting into something he shouldn't be because it is accompanied by a specific laugh of his. One that says, "Yeah, I know I'm not supposed to, but a love to make you catch me."
He's walking about 5 steps on his own before he will then sit down. We know he can do it, we're just waiting for him to decide he's ready. Today at Strides a mom asked if Landon was walking and I said, "He'll take only a few steps," and then he proceeded to leave me and walk over to her. Kind of like, "I'll show you, Mom."
Landon has always been a good napper but he's been doing the most amazing thing lately. When he's ready he'll crawl over to his crib and just stand there until I lift him in and shut the door. Amazing, right? Well, we all know it ain't lastin', but I'm enjoying it for the time being. "Put me in there, please."
Ohhh, ready for this one? I've become a little more crafty lately. It must be my old age. Here is a pic of my first attempt at a diaper cake for Lauren's baby shower.
Hmmm... What else? What else?
I know! I'm excited for the upcoming holidays. Can't wait, actually. First up- Thanksgiving. We will be with the Butler side, who we don't get to see as often as we'd like. Grandma Lynn says she can't wait to hold Landon, and we can't wait to let her. Also, now that Landon is a little bigger, it will be fun to see all the cousins running a muck together.
That's it for now, I guess. Until next time!

I love the diaper cake that is so cute. It is awesome that Landon is so good at his naps. We can't wait to see you guys.
Just a couple of weeks. I'm hoping that our face time on Sundays will mean that Landon will know who we are when we see him. Probably just wishful thinking!
