To Tree or Not to Tree?

This is our first X-Mas with a very mobile, at-times rambunctious, curious little guy, so the question is- can we get a tree? So far he has done alright with the X-Mas decorations I have put out, but how will an 8 foot tree go? He is obsessed with leaves and bushes when we walk the dog so I could see him tampering with the tree. That said, can I really feel like it's X-Mas without one??

I need advice. What do you think- tree or no tree?

Just for fun - Landon, a year ago today exactly :)

Remember when I had a brunette baby? Ha.

I say tree. Just don't put any ornaments that will break on the bottom half. He'll learn. How can it be Christmas without a tree? :)
Just so you know, I think Landon is adroable!

Ooooohhhh, that's a tough one! I'd vote for tree...lights, but no ornaments? That way he can't pull stuff off of it. :) Let me know how it works out. We'll be in your shoes next Christmas!

Chanting heard from far across the mojave and through the lights of Vegas and the Virgin River Gorge: Tree. Tree. Tree. Tree. Tree. Tree. Tree. Tree. Tree ...

Well you know how i feel about Christmas. A tree is a must. With Sam (12months) last year we started off with first putting his eight foot gate around the tree and once I got bugged with that. We just had to sick to our guns, on not letting him mess with the tree and after a couple of days he didn't bug it. Although this year he helped put the ornaments on and now thinks he can move them around at anytime or even play with them.

Good luck
