Yep, he still loves them:
He is getting stronger and stronger, and bigger and bigger. Since Landon was in his 2nd month or so, he's loved baring weight on his legs. The past couple of months really he has only used us for support. Well, finally (after I had the courage) I let him take control of his standing without our help (just the couch's, of course) and Ta-da!
Pretty hysterical seeing such a little body standing, right? We are just about there with sitting. He can sit-up on his own for about 5 seconds or so and then tips over, but I have no doubt that any minute he'll be sittin' up with the best of them. Let's see... what else?
Oh! This kid is a stealth mover! He rolls and relocates himself as soon as you turn your head. For example, yesterday I put him on his playmat to play, turned my head for a minute, and this is what I found:
He just rolls over and scoots and you find him five feet from where you left him, flipped over, with his head in a completely different direction :)
He also is at the stage where he is obsessed with textiles. He wants to feel and really check out anything that's around him. It definitely made this months "photo shoot" interesting:
He reaches out and grabs everything now. Gone are the days of him sitting nicely in your lap at the dinner table.. No, no. He wants your fork, your plate, your napkin and anything else he can just reach and grab. Kind of like this camera:
Or the dog (I love the look on Stevie's face. Kind of like, "Really, kid?):
He's still holding on to those pretty blue eyes. Sometimes I think they look green like his Dad's, but who knows.
And, yes, we are still teething, just without any sign of teeth!
This kid is on the move. Can't wait to see what this month brings. One last bonus pic, because... well, really... his face is hilarious in it. Nate and I couldn't look at it without laughing:
