Nikki Picky: Valentine's Day Reminiscing

For Valentine's Day, Nate and I did a little reminiscing of last year's big day. For those who don't know or forget, Nate and I got engaged last V-Day while hiking at Torrey Pines. This year we thought we would do the same hike and have a picnic at the spot where we got engaged on the beach. While I wasn't great a capturing a lot of the day I did get a few pics.

The day was picturesque, much like last year. Although, probably even hotter. The scene was beautiful, yet again:

My Valentine was looking similar to last year, although, if you ask him, he was feeling much more relaxed this time around. Not sure why ;)

We hiked up above the cliffs and then down to the beach. I had to take a picture of these eroding cliffs. So cool looking:

I meant to take a picture of our GLAMOROUS picnic, with the PB&Js, Baked Lays, carrots, and Propel, but I forgot to (oh, how I miss deli meats). After a year it was hard to pick out the rock I was propped up on when Nate proposed, but we think we found it.

In all, the hike reminded us of what a wonderful year we've had together; from engagement to wedding, and now a little peanut on the way. It's been an amazing year, and we just love our happy life together :)
